Paris
Paris

Please give a big SPIN  congratulations  to Paris! Paris came into SPIN in May 2017. She presented with idiopathic epilepsy and we invested time and money (more than $400/month) into finding the right mix of drugs that would help control her seizures. Paris was having on average three grand mal seizures per week plus smaller seizure events. Working with a neurologist we changed the mix of drugs and worked to achieve an optimum level. We are happy to report that Paris's seizure events have reduced both in frequency and intensity. Along our journey with Paris we met the most fabulous raw food company. We wanted to take Paris off of any preservatives and additives and raw food was really the only way to go. Well, then we met Patti at Iron Will Raw. Iron Will Raw committed to Paris all the food she could eat until she was adopted. At six months into Iron Will Raw donating food for Paris, we offered to pay half. They said, NO WAY. We are happy to donate. I kid you not! Please drop Patti a line at patti@ironwillrawdogfood.com to say thank you if you have a chance and visit their website at: https://ironwillrawdogfood.com/. Ask for their Pawty Pack at your favourite retailer. And then there were our foster families and care givers that gave this beautiful dog all their love, care and devotion. It was a group effort, the Paris Team. Only a special dog like Paris could engender such dedication. And it was this special dog that attracted the notice of a kind, young family. A vet tech dedicated to helping those dogs that required that little bit extra, she fell in love with Paris as soon as she met her. Don't get me wrong, they have been plotting and planning how they could adopt Paris for months now. In discussions with SPIN and with their own vet clinic. They now have a solid plan and today was the day. Paris is off to her new home. These dogs are the hardest to adopt out. We are happy that she is snug and loved, but, gosh, we still shed a little tear. Thank you to everyone who has helped, donated and spread the word about Paris. Thank you to Iron Will Raw! Because of all of you we have been able to help her. So celebrate! Paris is going home.
